Tucson, Arizona, USAA very fine large miniature to small cabinet specimen of deep amber coloured fluorite from Moscona mine in northern Spain with partial overgrowth of white bladed Baryte crystals. The colour of the Fluorite and association with Baryte is classic Moscona mine. The brightness and intensity of the amber colour in the Fluorite really stands out and is nicely offset with the contrasting white Baryte. Siting upright for display the specimen naturally has two very different sides for display - either predominantly Fluorite with the upper surface coated with secondary Baryte; or, Fluorite richly covered in small white Baryte crystals. A small, but lovely example from this famous Spanish locality with no obvious damage.
