MACQUARTITE with Dioptase Wulfenite and Cerussite$1,800.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A brightly coloured thumbnail specimen from the famous Mammoth-Saint Anthony mine, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA. Best appreciated under a microscope this specimen displays vivid green, glassy, prismatic Dioptase crystals contrasting with bright orange platy crystals (mostly damaged) of Wulfenite. The rarity factor kicks in with several 3 to 4 mm wide patches of fibrous yellow Macquartite. This lead copper chromate silicate hydroxide is known from this locality alone. Much of the rest of the matrix is white Cerussite. A really rich example of an extremely rare species.
