Cassiterite on Quartz$300.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
Based on the information held on mindat, it would appear that specimens of Cassiterite are not common from Tenkergin mine in the Far-Eastern Region of Russia. This really is in the far east as the regional name implies, certainly heading on the map towards Alaska! It is a splendid cabinet specimen comprising of a 9.7 cm long terminated Quartz crystal along two prism faces of which are embedded equant black metallic Cassiterite crystals up to 6 mm long. The Quartz crystal is transparent at and near the termination with a subtle hint of smokiness and throughout contains small inclusions of Cassiterite.\n
