This is a really impressive Brucite specimen of strong color! The color is lemon yellow with great Luster. The Brucite is in excellent condition in flower shape and absolutely perfect without any damage at all! A very aesthetic specimen with nice fresh color.

Brucite from Killa Saifullah District, Pakistan
The brucite from Killa Saifullah District is the modern locality that made a once-obscure species suddenly irresistible to fine-mineral collectors. Before the Pakistani material reached the international market, brucite was respected more often than loved: a soft magnesium hydroxide, Mg(OH)2, usually pale, waxy, fibrous, or massive, and only occasionally presentable. The Killa Saifullah finds changed that expectation with vivid lemon-yellow, translucent to gemmy botryoidal masses and rounded crystal aggregates that glow when backlit. The best pieces have a saturated color that looks almost improbable for the species, coupled with a soft internal luminosity and a sculptural, bubble-like surface.
