A large and beautiful display specimen from the Starnitsa deposit Smolyan Province, Bulgaria. A Quartz-Sphalerite matrix is liberally coated in flower-like aggregates of pale pastel-pink Rhodochrosite, sharp, golden Chalcopyrite crystals (to 6 mm across) and cream coloured Stilbite. The combination of Rhodochrosite and Stilbite is unusual elsewhere, but well-known from this occurrence. A colourful and attractive specimen with added individuality with the presence of Stilbite.
