Large, double terminated prismatic Fluorapatite crystals form a superb intergrown open mass with large hexagonal books of Muscovite mica crystals. This terrific small cabinet specimen is from the Zé Pinto Prospect at Aldeia in Minas Gerais, Brazil, a prospect which works part of the Aimorés pegmatite within the Eastern Brazilian pegmatite province. The Fluorapatite forms thick-set, double terminated prisms averaging 2 cm long, of mottled deep holly, olive and lighter sage green, all with a brilliant glassy lustre. The associated Muscovite also forms fine, silvery clove brown crystals, the largest of which is 2.5 cm point to point across the hexagon.\n
