Tucson, Arizona, USAA lovely miniature specimen from the classic American Pyromorphite occurrence at Wheatley mine, Phoenixville, Chester Co., Pennsylvania. This small dense aggregate of classic Wheatley mine murky-green, or khaki-green Pyromorphite crystals displays sharply formed hexagonal prisms to 8 mm in length. Unfortunately, most of the bigger crystals are incomplete, but the colour and form is textbook for the locality. Old collection labels accompanying the specimen reveal that it has passed through at least 3 collections in Germany and was originally acquired in May 1966 from a professor at the Bergakademie Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
