Fluorite
Wow, what a Fluorite! This larger display specimen from Wölsendorf Fluorite Mining District, Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany is a thing of beauty. Firstly, it has the exceptional vivid fiery orange colour known from Wölsendorf and given the name "Honigspat" or Honey Spar. It has a bright, glassy lustre, razor-sharp crystal edges with crystals to over 4 cm in size, and it has virtually no damage whatsoever - just one tiny nick to the corner of one crystal, but barely visible. Then there is the aesthetics which to me are remarkable, enhanced by the internal patterns within the glassy Fluorite crystals. With all these things combined it simple exudes class and looks the business. This is a remarkable Fluorite and if you demand your specimens to be exceptional then this might just be for you.
