This well formed lustrous prismatic crystal of Quartz from Minas Gerais, Brazil, measures 8 cm tall and has an orange-brown coloured phantom overgrown of colourless Quartz, with the lower section of the crystal included by grey-green 'Riebeckite' and a diagonal ring of disrupted growth around the termination. The lowermost part, where included with fibrous Riebeckite also displays a disrupted, almost etched appearance producing ghostly overtones.
