Classic Cave-in-Rock Fluorite. This quite large cubic crystal (5 cm on edge) has a wonderful amber-yellow colour, great transparency, bright glassy lustre and a notable colourless zone/band along the edges. The edges of the crystal are sharp, with little noticeable damage and the partial overgrowth of Calcite and minor inclusions of Chalcopyrite provide a nice addition. Cave-in-Rock specimens are always very popular and as a small cabinet specimen this is a really showy piece, full of the character one associates with the locality.
