Description
Collected by Richard Barstow in October 1975, this excellent divergent spray of Aragonite crystals is from Blackrock quarry, aka Bullycleaves quarry, close to Buckfastleigh in Devon. This ex-matrix miniature is mounted on a square acrylic base and forms a radial stellate burst of colourless to milky white Aragonite crystals to up to about 3 cm long with sharp, spike-like terminations. It is accompanied with a white R.W. Barstow label (from his personal collection) and a nicely printed label of unknown origin.
