FLEISCHERITE with Söhngeite
Unknown Owner
This might be what one terms a micromount, but it has not one, but two Type species from Tsumeb mine present on it. Firstly, Fleischerite, a lead germanium sulphate hydroxide hydrate, named after Michael Fleischer of the mineral names book fame. This is present as several silky white fibres upon another rarity, Sohngeite, a gallium hydroxide mineral, with a tiny bit of Germanite matrix. This specimen was formerly in the famous collection of Dr. Hans-Jurgen Wilke (1925-2014) who, based on his detailed label/notecard appears to have acquired it in 1975.
