A spectacular large cabinet specimen of well-crystallised Schorl Tourmaline together with cloudy white Quartz crystals and what appears to be a carbonate matrix. Unfortunately, the locality details are exceedingly poor, being labelled as ‘Gallegos, Chihuahua, Mexico’. Searching the internet we cannot find any place, never mind a mineral locality, named Gallegos in Mexico, nor does Schorl appear on any list of minerals from Chihuahua. So, from the locality perspective, we offer it as labelled, but with a suitably marked-down price to reflect this at $350. The Schorl prisms are excellent, measuring up to 4 cm wide and with sharply crystallised habits and a bright lustre. Please be aware, this specimen is heavy, so may require an additional charge for post and packing.\n
