A Banská Štiavnica (Schemnitz) classic. Highly distinctive pale Amethystine to Milky Quartz crystals displaying 'stepped' clustered crystals around the circumference of the base of the larger crystals which themselves grow up from a bed of golden metallic Pyrite. Large cabinet in size, this specimen is dramatic, attractive and iconic. Individually, the crystals reach about 7 cm in length and viewed from above the pyramidal terminations display a stunning internal star-shaped pattern. Overall, in superb condition and with a lovely lustre. A remarkable Slovakian specimen that you will have to go a long way to improve upon.
