Tucson, Arizona, USAA very fine, well-balanced miniature specimen of twinned Rutile crystals from the famous Graves Mountain, Lincoln County, Georgia, USA. Mounted on an acrylic base for display, the crystal (or twin) is 3.3 cm across at its widest point and is complete all round and is attached to a small piece of matrix. The edges of the crystal show very slight signs of wear, but this does not detract from its excellent form and it has a lovely resinous to sub-metallic lustre adding to its character. A very nice specimen of this American classic and, infact, high quality crystals of Rutile like this are rare on a world scale.
