Malachite can take many habits throughout the karstic orebody at Tsumeb in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia and this thumbnail forms a small dome of primary Malachite, forming 1 to 2 mm, intergrown blocky crystals with opposed feathered acicular ends. The Malachite crystals are dark bottle green, tending towards greenish black while the acicular ends are bright emerald green. A fine thumbnail Malachite from Tsumeb.
