Description
A fine cabinet specimen instantly recognizable as from the Berbes Mining District, Asturias, northern Spain. Multiple large (to over 3 cm in length) cockscomb aggregates of white bladed Baryte sit upon glassy, deep purple Fluorite crystals. The Fluorite crystals are only small (around 5 mm on edge) but very gemmy and intensely colourful. There is no damage to the display surface and the contrast in colours from white (Baryte) and purple (Fluorite) is wonderful. A great Spanish classic.
