A simply classic Elmwood mine assemblage in a beautiful small cabinet specimen which sits well for display. Sphalerite, Baryte and Fluorite combine to great effect to provide a superb contrast in crystal forms, colours and lustre. Relatively large, glossy black Sphalerite crystals form a fairly consistent layer coating the matrix upon which is sat a cream coloured feathery aggregate of Baryte. Elsewhere, two purple cubic crystals of Fluorite sit, isolated, upon the Sphalerite. Iconic Elmwood mine material and in fine condition. Ex Arvid Pasto collection.
