A pleasing combination of well crystallised Tetrahedrite and Galena, the former overgrowing the latter. From near the town of Bleialf, Pr'm, in the Eifel district of Germany, bright metallic silver tetragonal Tetrahedrite crystals overgrow dull lead grey Galena forming cuboctahedrons and cuboids with corners modified to the octahedron. This charming small miniature comes with an old handwritten label which, I think, is dated 1896.
