Fluorite
Classic, violet-purple, large, heavily stepped cubes of Fluorite from Tule mine, Mun. de Melchor Múzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico. This locality is one of the older Mexican Fluorite producers and fine specimens are less seen nowadays. This is a really excellent cabinet size display specimen, with the individual cubes of Fluorite reaching 3.5 cm on edge, overprinted by many smaller cubes, providing a somewhat castellated surface. The violet colour is concentrated in the outer edges of the crystals with a white to colourless internal core. The display surfaces are free from damage and the specimen has a lovely internal 'glow' about it. A choice specimen and ex Jesse Fisher collection.
