Barra do Salinas produced a few famous pockets of these sceptred crystals - in the 1980s! Try finding one today! They are still recognizable and notable for a classic coloration and shape, with the pink stalk, gem green zone atop; and a sharp pointed termination. This crystal, which has one clean repair about the middle, is from the collection of our friend, mathematician and mineral addict, Steve Smale.
