What a captivating, botryoidal lavender Fluorite from Burma, where fluorite is actually fairly rarely seen in specimens. Mounded, translucent, scintillating Fluorite botryoids almost completely cover this attractive piece. The lavender mounds overgrow a banded texture of Fluorite on the underside of the piece where concentric, ribbon-like bands of alternating lavender, light purple and off-white Fluorite are evident. This is very unusual and very uncommon material from Burma; it is very dramatic in appearance and quite unlike any other purple Fluorite you might have. it should also be noted that truly botryoidal (rounded crystalline material without crystal form) fluorite is rare in the world, only occurring in a few places.
