This is a very good fluorite from an uncommon locality for fluorite in New England. Part of Shields Flynn's east coast suite, this is an interesting fluorite with a deep green core surrounded by a gray to colorless zone on the perimeter of the crystal. There is some minor damage to one corner where a small bit cleaved off but it does not affect the display of the specimen and we would simply display it with that corner down in any case. Looking at this piece from the side, you can see a very thin, 1mm, zone of deep green right at the top of the fluorite. From the collection of Shields Flynn. Unusual!
