Chalcopyrite configurations such as this (often called blister copper) could initially be mistaken for old, classic finds from Cornwall, with similar bright luster and bubbling formation, but they're actually "COVID-era" finds from China. Of the pieces we purchased in a small lot in 2020, this has the largest botryoids, with color variations and significant calcite crystals on the right side of the piece, dotted by several other small chalcopyrite balls.
