A highly aesthetic hedgehog-like spray of lustrous, transparent to translucent classic yellow "Mango Quartz". The crystals are heavily included with fibrous Halloysite, in some cases covering a third of the crystal length which have a more uniform color throughout than with some other specimens. The color here is primarily yellow more than orange or burnt orange, making the piece standout from others on the table together. Many of the prismatic crystals show complete multi-terminations or "hoppered" terminations - an unusual feature found so far only in a small number of pieces from a January 2023 pocket. The piece is in very good condition with some minor contacting and a couple of secondary broken crystals on the lower right side and in the center periphery (difficult to spot unless looking closely). Contacted on back, it displays well from the front with 3-dimensionality and a grandiose 180 degree spray of "Mango Quartz" centered around a 'spine' of matrix. That perch and display quality makes for a spectacularly displayable specimen in this size range, as it is not just a thin plate. It is also sturdy, and can be mailed.
