Rounded groups of distorted, silvery Muscovite crystals characterize this miniature from a pegmatite in the Mogok Valley. The spherical habit of the Muscovite indicates that it probably contains some cesium that distorts the Muscovite crystal structure resulting in rounded crystals and crystal aggregates which is common from many pegmatite occurrences. The spheres, up to 2 cm across, are mounded up vertically in an aesthetic, sculptural arrangement. A unique display quality mica specimen!
