Good, gem crystals of Kyanite aren't common from anywhere and this is a beautiful single crystal with a near perfect rectangular outline and cross-section. It's a perfect, rich, medium blue throughout its length with only a few linear traces across the crystal perpendicular to its length. A lovely gem Kyanite crystal with a mass of 7.3 grams. They have cut gems from similar material, on rare occasions.
