Fascinating Quartz with a number of uncommon features making a more unique specimen for these phantomed Quartz crystals from the 2020 finds in Karur. Like many, it is a sharp, clear, glassy, transparent Quartz crystal but with a Dauphine growth habit, having a greatly enlarged rhombohedral face. It also exhibits a multiple termination. The incredible phantoms generated by the glistening red Hematite preferentially coating the included Quartz crystal are common for these however a multi-termination phantom is definitely uncommon. To top it off the phantom double termination is rotated 90 degrees from the Quartz crystal double termination and is offset to the right.There is some minor nicks and scratches on some of the faces, but forgivable in my opinion given the piece. A unique Quartz specimen with several uncommon and really interesting features.
