An attractive, intergrown string of lustrous cobalt blue Fluorite crystals with cubes up to 2.3 cm, showing clear centers on a contrasting white Fluorite matrix. One can also see the matrix through the transparent fluorite cubes, as well as the outstanding blue phantoms with a razor thin purple edge. The Fluorites show a familiar preferential white frosting on some faces that many of these Poggio Balate fluorites have. There is some edge wear with minor corner bruising and a cleave on the back lower left crystal. The blue hue varies depending on lighting but shows its most brilliant color under cool LED lights and purple fluorescence under UV lights. An uncommon Fluorite with excellent color from 2019-2020 finds at this famous locale.
