What an incredibly cute and remarkable pair of gem Burmese Sapphires, making for an unusually aesthetic thumbnail specimen that is not just the usual single crystal. Each of these crystals has a lovely medium blue color, sharp, textbook form with tapering pyramidal faces that are horizontally striated and display an adamantine luster, with a satiny touch. One tiny pinacoid face at the end of one crystal enables us to see right into the heart of a gem blue crystal; the adjacent termination has a satin termination. This superb, thumbnail Sapphire cluster has a mass of 4.7 grams.
