This tourmaline is special because of the location it is from, of course, but also for the aesthetics of the beautiful display with quartz and porcelain white feldspar crystals. It is now one of the most memorable pockets of tourmaline in the last recent years, to my eye, and comes from the so-called Candy Cane Pocket of late 2019, which was premiered in Tucson 2020 by Spirifer Minerals (Tomek Praszkier). This pocket remains unique and special...and, we think, is likely to remain so. We had the chance to buy at the start, and this is one of only a few unrepaired specimens of any significance. The tourmaline is complete, and has no repairs, and stands 3.25 cm tall. Comes with a custom base.
