This intense green fluorite is already at the top of its field for something of the size and style from Pakistan, with intense color and a bright luster, combined with translucency throughout. It is not just a pale green, but rather a hot color that jumps out. Crystal is to 4.7 cm on edge. However, this is not just a green fluorite, but a pegmatitic green fluorite. Pegmatite origin fluorites are much more rare than green fluorites from the kind of vast deposits where they usually occur by the tonnage (Illinois, England, China...). These occur in tight veins and pockets with gem species, in really violent origin environments such as the high mountains of Pakistan. And the best pegmatitic fluorites must really occur with some gemmy crystal like an aquamarine or tourmaline to prove it, right? This piece, complete all around, has an associated dark tourmaline on the front right, and also engulfed another, which you can see as a sharp phantom within! So it is a pegmatitic fluorite of high quality, with tourmaline in and out (sounds like we are describing a sushi roll, I know...), the ultimate combination fluorite miniature.
