This amethyst is unusual in that it has a really pleasing gradient of color from top to bottom that is special on its own merit combined with obvious stunning clarity and internal brightness. The crystal has the best glassy luster, and is absolutely perfect - razor sharp! It has no dings. The termination is so sharp you can cut skin on it - one of the best Quartz terminations you could ask for and just exceptional in quality in a way hard to describe without seeing it... It just has a look of perfection, somehow. The crystal is clear on top, zoned lavender in middle, and a bit richer pastel purple at the base. From local collector Zach Goodman, who purchased this in a larger specimen and had it trimmed carefully out. The result is a 3-dimensional, complete all around, gem crystal on matrix (with no repairs). Comes with a custom lucite display base (free).
