Without a doubt, this is one of the gemmiest and one of the most beautiful Fluorites we have ever seen from this famous Ontario locality! This piece has so many great attributes, not only is it totally limpid, bit it has a wonderful pale mint green hue to it and it's super glassy, and if that isn't enough it's TWINNED! The two twinned crystals both exhibit dominant cube faces with octahedral modifications! There is a trace of edge wear locally and a contact at the bottom which is the point of attachment. A spectacular Fluorite from Madoc or any locality! These came out in the 1980s and now only turn up rarely. This example is from the fluorite miniatures suite of the Herb Obodda collection. Comes with custom base.
