Sinhalite is a very rare magnesium aluminum borate and the Mogok Stone Tract has produced the best-of-species by far! This happens to be an exceptional and completely transparent, triangular cushion cut stone displaying a hint of champagne color. It has a vibrant luster and the faces are nicely cut and it is only slightly included. The gem has a mass of 0.5 grams or 2.45 carats.
