Another unique Fluorite from the well known Yaogangxian Mine in China that has produced spectacular Fluorite specimens over the years, and yet so different from one year to the next. This one is no exception with the main 4 cm cube displaying an overall sea-green color and upon close inspection, reveals that there is a milky white phantom in the very center about 2 cm on edge, followed by a thick sea-green zone and subsequently greenish blue zone at the rim. It is transparent and only the numerous, small-scale square patterned growth features obscure its transparency. There two smaller 1.3 and 1.9 cm intergrown Fluorite cubes on one side. Some small, milky white Quartz terminations growth into the Fluorite in places and the bottom of the piece reveals a couple of Ferberite clusters composed of thin bladed crystals that grew contemporaneously with the Fluorite so that they could be enclosed within. A unique and attractive piece!
