French Fluorites of really good quality like this are difficult to obtain beyond the hands of the French Fluorite fanatics who are after them constantly. This is a gorgeous zoned Fluorite from this classic old French location with cubes featuring a translucent central area dominated by yellow and then a very well-defined and transparent outer zone of rich blue that is 2 to 3 mm thick. The sharply formed Fluorites have a good luster with minor stepped growth developed on some of the faces. The largest crystal, front and center in this beautiful cluster measures 3.2 cm on edge. There are several other cubes arranged about the central cube and all of them are in excellent condition. There is some contacting at the back and bottom and the large cube has one lower corner that is slightly compromised. This is a beautiful small cabinet piece, with no repairs or restoration.
