Handsome cluster of cobalt blue Fluorite crystals with uncommon late stage purple edge zoning on a few crystals. Sharp intergrown cubic crystals up to 2.0 cm displaying clear centers transitioning to white to blue to purple zoning with preferential white frosting of two crystal faces. The purple tinge that is only developed in one isolated area on the piece is very interesting, particularly from a pocket fluid chemistry viewpoint. There is subtle contacting on the bottom with the majority of the crystals being in excellent condition. The blue hue varies depending on lighting but shows it’s most brilliant color under cool LED lights and purple fluorescence under UV light. A highly representative multi-cube example from the locale.
