Enargite
This amazing large metallic crystal is a stumper when you first look at it to try to puzzle out what it is...actually, a cluster of HUGE Enargite crystals from the Julcani Mine in Peru! Five parallel-grown and dramatically vertical Enargite crystals from, 5 to 8 cm, join to make up this commanding metallic large crystal. These are some of the largest crystals I remember seeing from Peru, or anywhere, for this rare metallic species. I obtained this first in the 1990s from a Peruvian dealer, sold it, and got it back along the line. I have not yet seen others of the same style, in this size and in pristine condition. It is clearly an important example of the species, Peruvian or not.
