From this unique, modern find out of Colombia, this is a sculptural composition piece with lustrous, prismatic Quartz crystals climbing up the hillside of a sparkly, microcrystalline quartz covered matrix. There is a diverse variety of Quartz crystals with some having yellow-orange Halloysite inclusions, some with very light yellow to no inclusions and some that are healed/recrystallized with unusual terminations. The unusual horizontal doubly terminated appearing Halloysite included Quartz at the top exhibits multiple terminations or hoppered crystal growth on the right and a partially hoppered to contacted termination on the left. Slight contacting on the lower left crystal prevented termination growth but it is complete and crystalline with glassy faces. The piece is in good condition. A base or stand is needed for optimal upright display of this artistic example from the 2022 finds. Largest crystals are to just over 2 inches (6 cm).
