A classic combination of East Coast minerals! Jet-black babingtonite formed on a very lustrous prehnite ball. The black on green gives a great contrast and we have a hard time deciding how to display it, as it looks great from a few different angles! This was part of the significant and large East Coast suite of the Shields Flynn collection. While this mineral occurs other places now, this was a historic locale and it is a significant, unusually important piece for a USA thumbnail collector.
