A superb example in miniature size of the famous PHANTOM SCEPTRE habit of old Illinois fluorites. Due to the way these seem to form in nature, the shapes and symmetries are often disrupted. This is unusually equant and balanced for a smaller example, with sharp zoning and deep color. One of Wayne's personal favorites as the cubic symmetry lies within, and yet the overall shape and look gave it so much contrast in his showcase. Old material from the 1980s.
