A beautiful Quartz cluster embellished with one larger and one smaller Hubnerite crystal, sitting on some pink Fluorite! These lovely Quartz-Fluorite-Hubnerite combination pieces came out over a decade ago from this classic Peruvian locality. The Quartz group consists of super glassy, very sharp and totally transparent, 1 to 6.2 cm, tapering crystals, all pointed upward for dramatic effect. The Quartz crystals are set on a delicate, pale pastel piece of pink Fluorite for subtle, but noticeable contrast. A highly lustrous, 2 cm, Hubnerite crystal is set amidst the Quartz crystals right in the center of the piece! A smaller 0.8 mm Hubnerite is found amongst some smaller Quartz crystals on the lower left of the specimen. This is a well composed cabinet specimen with no damage to any of the Quartz crystals or the Hubnerites! It is essentially a quartz combination piece where the hubnerite is the accent for the clarity and gemminess of the quartz.
