Lovely linear aggregate of three deeply colored hemispheres exhibiting a good coverage of a "nubby" textured cornflower blue Shattuckite. This later growth phase is overlying the smoother initial sky blue Shattuckite. The larger middle hemisphere measures 3.5 cm across. Many of the specimens from the Tantara Mine do not have as uniform coverage of the darker blue phase as this piece. The periphery of the piece shows the radiating form and fibrous nature of the initial botryoidal formation of the Shattuckite. The dark blue banding on the cross sectional view is delightful. An appealing example of Shattuckite with a great blue color. Superb for the size range, this has visual impact due to the geometry.
