Two-tiered matrix specimen consisting of a over a half-dozen glassy, transparent Halloysite included Quartz crystals rising high above the plethora of smaller quartz crystal needles that make up the lower 'valley' portion of a complex and 3-dimensional matrix piece. The three most dominant prismatic crystals in the upper front are between 5-6 cm long. The contrast of the crystal sizes combined with the limonitic matrix accentuates the display beauty and visual interest of this piece. It would benefit even more by using a base for upright display. The piece is in great condition and has only been cleaned with water! A really sparkling, aesthetic example from this 2022 lot.
