Throughout the discoveries of Shattuckite, the material has been sought after for cutting and carving. Many natural Shattuckite specimens do not show their hidden colors until they have been cut or carved. Here is an outstanding example of a two sided polished slab with a hint of the natural form in the center window and periphery edge. The polished faces show a mosaic of multi-hued blue colors and wonderful mottled textures representing the fan shaped growth of the Shattuckite, with spheres up to 2.4 cm. Extremely fibrous details can be seen defining each radial hemisphere and color transition using magnification. A solid slab with only a couple of millimeter deep surface cracks. A high quality doubly polished slab that forms a "halo" around the typical sky blue Shattuckite. 65 grams of stunning color.
