This cute Prehnite thumbnail from an erratic locality in south-central Namibia and not related at all to the occurrences at Goboboseb. This sculptural piece is composed of four larger and several smaller, moderately intergrown botryoids that are a translucent to transparent, seafoam green color, you can almost see through them, but not quite! The larger ones are almost perfect and complete spheres from 1.1 to 1.3 cm and the smaller ones average 5 mm in size. The gem-like Prehnite balls have perfect composition and the piece is simply charming. One of the joys of Charlie's collecting was when he got minerals that fit multiple suites he liked to collect in. He also liked thumbnails, botryoidals, and prehnite so this was a three-for.
