This fluorite specimen from a late 2023 find in Brazil is an alluring large plate of lustrous, intergrown cubic crystals of blue colored Fluorites, totally translucent and exhibiting a range of blue colors transitioning from teal to aqua to a purple-blue. The textured stepped growth crystal faces combined with multiple blue hues visually blend together to form a colorful mosaic of natural art. The undulating hilly surface adds a little three dimensionality to the piece. The large center cube measures 1.8 cm on edge. The piece has a sparkle and shimmer to it from the textured faces that combine with the wonderful tapestry of blues to create a delightful specimen from the new finds in Espirito Santo. These come from an unusual geology, a pegmatite, which is uncommon worldwide and tends to correlate with strong coloration.
