Analcime from the Goboboseb locality is not common and this miniature hosts a beautiful, lustrous duo of these crystals along with some Prehnite and Quartz. The larger is a significant size for the species and unusually glassy in surface luster! The two well formed, gemmy to translucent Analcime crystals are colorless to white displaying a super glassy luster and measure 3 and 1.9 cm across, respectively. Not only are they rare from here, but rarely do you find them as gemmy and glassy crystals like this from anywhere! They are balanced on the piece by a two small, bright mint-green, botryoidal Prehnite groups that are adjacent to the Analcime crystals. There are numerous, pale mint-green single crystals and bundles of 3 to 6 mm Prehnite in the lower right corner of the piece that sit atop small, colorless Quartz crystals. The variety of color, luster and textures as well as great composition, make for an incredibly attractive miniature.A fine miniature , of unique appearance, from the significant Namibian collection of Charlie Key.
