A refined isolated single cobalt blue Fluorite crystal with an additional crystal growing out of the side. The single largest crystal is 2.3 x 2.2 x 2.4 cm. The main cube displays the transparent satin luster with white to blue zoning that Poggio Balate is famous for. The piece is in good condition with contacting on the left side of the crystal and bruising to the upper back corner. The blue hue varies depending on lighting but shows its most brilliant color under cool LED lights. The specimen displays purple fluorescence under UV lights. Highly representative example with above average color and single crystal aesthetics from the famous locale.
